Remembrance Day Opening
The planned opening of the Historical Museum on Wednesday for Remembrance Day has been cancelled. This decision was made due to the recent snowfall and change in Covid restrictions.
The Historical Museum, located at 10 River Street East, is pleased to open our doors for Remembrance Day. The museum will be open, free of charge, between 1 and 4 pm. Due to limited capacity, we are encouraging people to book a timed entry slot to avoid having to wait. Time slots are every 30 minutes, starting at 1:00 pm. Walk-ins will also be accepted pending space.

COVID-19 prototcols will be in place. Masks are mandatory to visit the museum; please bring yours.
Antique and Garage Sale

Check out our selection of heritage items: Enamel basins, antique hand tools, dishes, and a gramaphone horn are just some of the items available for purchase.
COVID-19 prototcols will be in place. Masks are mandatory to attend the sale; please bring yours. The east door will be the entrance door to the sale and the main doors will serve as the exit. A limited number of people will be allowed in the sale area at one time.
Covid-19 Protocols for Summer 2020 Season
Our four museums will be following Covid-19 protocols to meet guidelines issued by the Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Our exhibits and collections are all on display, but movement through the museums will be different from past summers.
Museum Closure
All Prince Albert museums are closed to the public effective March 17th @ 4:00 pm based on a decision communicated by the City of Prince Albert. For more information, check the City of Prince Albert web site at https://www.citypa.ca/Modules/news/en.
Staff will still be available for inquiries via phone, email and social media while we are closed. Please don't hesitate to contact us!
Applications are being accepted for our summer 2020 opening. Twelve (12) summer students are needed to fill our Museum Interpreter positions. Check the job description for more details. Submit your cover letter and resume by April 9th.
