General Interest

Our museum staff are working on a number of projects that will be posted to our web site once they are completed.  These activities are related to the themes and artefacts of our museums.  Most activities are meant to be completed in your own home, but may be offered at the museum, as time permits.

For the 2020 holiday season, two "Historic Holiday Baking" videos have been created.  Watch our videos to learn how baking differs from modern times.  Both recipes were found in a 1942 recipe book.  The recipes for these cookies can be found in the comments section of the video.  We hope you will be inspired to try these recipes - let us know how they turned out!
